Raiding My "File Cabinet"

SMART Goal #8

My goal this week is to add more to my website in terms of my sources, as well as add some sample work as examples either done by myself or infographics that have inspired me.

Reflection

This week I had a lot of fun going through some of my old work from my Intro to Graphic Arts class last year. I found three pieces that I thought represented some of my design and creativity skills well, plus a photo of a detailed pen and ink drawing I completed in one of my other art classes. I uploaded these to my website and they’re currently just under the “My Work” subtitle on my home page, but I’m planning to create an additional page dedicated purely to my past work with graphic design, plus some of the infographics I’ve come across online. As my project progresses, I’ll be able to add a lot more images, especially since uploading pictures is super easy. Some of the types of images I was thinking off adding once I got going include those that would show a step by step like process. Then I can add my final outcomes under a separate section of the page to emphasize my portfolio of completed work. Next week I will need to get started on adding the additional pages I need on my website, as well as finish up my overall reflection for the quarter.
