SMART Goal #17

During the next couple weeks I want to complete at least one more black and white infographic, as well as fully plan my final presentation.

Reflection

Over the past two weeks I actually got a lot more done than I expected. I met with Mrs. Heaton about making my posters for step-up day as well as reserving space for my final presentation. I’m going to print my infographics within the size range of 18 in. by 24 in. The printer has a set cost that’s determined by the amount and number of colors, as well as the size, but since I’m only going to be printing about four or five infographics it probably won’t be an issue. She also mentioned that it’s important for me to include my name and graduation year somewhere small on the graphic, just to make sure that no one can post a photo without giving me any credit for my work. As for the actual construction of my infographics, I’ve just about finished my National Honor Society one, and all that’s left is adding some color and playing around with different fonts. I’m a little unsure of which group I want to focus on next. I already have the information that Matt gave me about Debate Team, but I’m not sure if there’s enough there for me to make an infographic about. Because of this, I might make one about the language classes instead.

This year I will be exploring the power, purpose, and process of creating infographics. With eye-catching graphic design, infographics are an increasingly popular form for presenting information to the public in modern-day media.
